Loona!!!
What’s that noise? I ask myself. It sounds like screaming almost. No one screams like that unless they’re choking. Maybe, Loona!!! I get up and run to Loona’s room. As soon as I get there I rush to Loona’s bed and pull off her sling, hoping it might help. I stay in her room all night hoping that I might hear Loona’s voice again. I am soon awaken by a slight push. I open my eyes and see Loona sitting in front of me. “Loona!!!” I said as I got up. I had forgotten I fell asleep in Loona’s room. I nestle Loona in my arms and carry her down the stairs and into the family room.
For breakfast we had Loona’s favorite, banana nut muffins and orange juice. After breakfast we went to the park and did Loona’s favorite thing, the MONKEY bars and she did them very well even though her arm still hurt. When we got home from the park we had Loona’s favorite lunch, peanut butter and banana sandwiches. For a dink we had apple juice or milk. After lunch it is time for naps.
Loona was so worn out that she fell asleep as soon as mom had laid her down and soon so did I. When we woke up from our naps mom gave us a snack. After we were finished with our snacks mom told us that we were going to go to the ice cream store. Loona and I were so happy when we heard that we were going to the ice cream store. Why we are always so happy to go is because my dad works there.
After we got ready we all got in the car and drove to the ice cream store and were going to see my dad. When we got there dad was so glad to see us. Last night the person who used to do the ice cream at the counter had gotten fired. So, now my dad worked at the counter. As soon as we got there he came out and swooped me and Loona into his arms and gave us a huge hug, then he put us down and gave mom a hug to.

Once Upon a Christmas Tree - Chapter 1
Surprises, or Not
Today my family went and got a Christmas tree.
It’s puny and small, but it will go to the roof of our little cottage. I have a very good family though. In my family I have a mother, a father, two sisters, and a brother. And then there is me.
Your probably wondering who exactly I am. I am Paula Jane Smith a 3 year old daughter of Amy and Michael Smith. My two sisters names are Michaela, who’s 10, and Abby, who’s 7. My brother’s name is Roscoe who’s almost 5. Oh, we can’t forget my pet monkey Loona who’s almost 10.
One day while I was reading my book, Loona was in her room swinging on her vine, and then I heard something go “SMASH!” I get up and go to Loona’s room as fast as I can and what I saw before me could have been the worst thing I had ever seen. When I had heard the smash Loona had fallen off of her vine and hit one of her pots of jungle flowers. Michaela had heard the noise also and came running down the hall to see what had happened. Luckily, Loona wasn’t hurt to bad. We think she had broken her left arm though.
Since Loona does everything with her right arm we think she’ll be all right. When we went to the vet’s office at first Loona was a little afraid, and then we saw our friend Alexa with her cat Rusty. When we finally got in to see the vet and we did the shots and x-ray, she had a little bit of trouble ( since its her first time going to the vets).
After we were done with the x-rays and shots, Loona got a sling. The doctor said that she would have to have the sling for almost a month. It was a week or so before Christmas.
That night I had problems sleeping. I dreamt that Loona was going to choke and maybe die because of her sling.
